Urban Policy Forum To Provide Stakeholder Advice On Cities (Fed)

Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Anthony Albanese, said the Gillard Labor Government has today taken another step towards making the nation’s biggest cities and regional centres even more productive, sustainable and liveable, with the establishment of a new Urban Policy Forum.
The Forum brings together experts from across all levels of government as well as industry and academia, including the former South Australian Premier Mike Rann, former Deputy Prime Minister Brian Howe AO, current head of the Local Government Association Genia McCaffery, and the Deputy Chief Executive of the Business Council of Australia Maria Tarrant.
