Professional development program accreditation

We accredit educational programs that contribute to the professional development of exercise professionals.

What is program accreditation?

Program accreditation demonstrates that a professional development program meets a high standard of educational merit and quality of content and delivery.

Workshops and programs are accredited for two years. Events, conferences and seminars are accredited as a one off for the date on which they take place.

Who can apply?

Anyone who has developed a professional development program appropriate to deliver to exercise professionals may apply for program accreditation.

What are the benefits of program accreditation?

There are a number of benefits to the program provider:

• Accredited programs have industry credibility and are well trusted.
• The program provider will receive Professional Development Points (PDPs). Find out how to earn PDPs.
• Accredited programs are promoted through our List of Accredited Programs (PDF) which lists the program name, provider, contact details, course dates (if supplied) and a direct link to the provider’s website.
• Providers of accredited programs also have access to discount rates for our Email Alert advertising service.  Find out more about Email Alerts.

What is the application process for an ongoing program accreditation?

1. Read the Program Accreditation Terms and Conditions.
2. Download and complete the Program Accreditation Application.
3. Pay the Application Fee online by clicking the add to cart button below.
4. Pay the estimated PDP Allocation Fees by clicking the continue shopping button and the appropriate add to cart button below.
5. Check your email inbox for your receipt and enter your online payment order number in the appropriate field on the form.
6. Mail your application and supporting documents to:

What is the application process for a one off Forum, Conference or Event accreditation?

1. Read the Program Accreditation Terms and Conditions.
2. Download and complete the Forum, Conference or Event Accreditation Application.
3. Pay the relevant application fee online by clicking the add to cart button below.
4. Check your email inbox for your receipt and enter your online payment order number in the appropriate field on the form.
5. Mail your application and supporting documents to:
